A to Z: Z is for Zzz's

Hello readers! It's the last day of the challenge. It's bittersweet. But for Z all I can think about is Zzz's. Since it's the last day I have three poems and most of them are inspired/about sleep. Enjoy! (I hope they don't make you fall asleep, lol)!

Sleep or Work

All I want to do is sleep
but the sun is shining bright
and at my face
calling me to get on with my day

It may hard to get up
but you have to
you have one more thing to do
and then it's done

You'll get to do what you want
whenever you want
but for now you show
one last time the skills you got.

Sleep

For a while now
you worked your mind so hard
without a break

You finally get one
and don't do any thinking
just falling into your bed
and falling asleep.

The End

You've reached the end
and know what to do beyond the end
it's outlined

But after throwing yourself out there
you're surprised and they are surprised
you're tired and others are, too
you've reached the end

Give each other a break
and beyond the end
you and others will live on.

Haha no they didn't make me fall asleep. I got more of the 'wake-up-and-get-to-work!' vibe haha.
Thanks for sharing. It was a pleasure reading your poetry for an entire month. :)

What's up Wednesday

Hello readers, What I'm Reading : I got and read two e-Arcs. 1. Behind the Stars by Leigh T Moore. I gave it 5 stars. The synopsis was left vague which left the story to be unexpected. 2. The Attic of Sand and Secrets by Medeia Sharif. I gave it 4 stars. I love the mystery. I love the diversity. Also, I finally... for the first time, got to read THRONE OF GLASS by Sarah J Maas!! I gave it 5 stars. You will find more in depth reviews on goodreads . What I'm Writing : I'm in that two week slump for NaNoWriMo. This weekend I was at 17k. It's been three days and I'm at 18k. Hopefully better days are coming. Lists are very helpfully. I recently learned one way to revise your novel is to write one line about each page you have. It's timely but you get to see what you character or plot point is missing. What Else : Got an award from Jessica at Lunatic Poet , thank you! I have to give seven facts and pass it on to some of my favorite bloggers. - I've been blogging f

What's up Wed: Blog Tour Day 3

Hello readers, What I'm Reading CROWN OF MIDNIGHT! The first book was already great but this second book kicked it up a notch with the OMG! moments. What I'm Writing : I'm keeping on with NaNoWriMo at 28k! In between I'm switching back and forth between two stories: Reading Deciding Hijab after a long break. I forgot about her short conversation about a school dance club. I didn't even put in a scene of her joining after the conversation. More revisions to come. The other story is one I have a sneak peak on Wattpad . What Else : It's day three of belated Hugs & Kisses blog tour. Earlier this month Medeia reviewed my book . If you have read it or is planning to read it I would love to see your review on goodreads ! Poetry Prompt : Write about the feeling reading gives you. a Rafflecopter giveaway Love, Fida # Poetteers
