Hello readers, I'm in the midst of reading HEIR OF FIRE. Whenever I put it down to do life, it kills me. I want to keep reading. I'm still revising DH. Realized I never mentioned her old friends. Now they are starting to appear and love her new friends. I'm also still doing NaNoWriMo. I'm at 41k! Earlier, I was listening to the song True Colors . I think of writing color poems for my book. I realize I have. More than a couple, too. Two about black and white. One about purple. Two about rainbows. Then suddenly I thought of the title for the book. Kaleidoscope. My writing goal is to write 4k today. I did it yesterday, so I'm hoping I can do it again today. I hope I can win nanowrimo within the next two days. Hello readers, What I'm Reading CROWN OF MIDNIGHT! The first book was already great but this second book kicked it up a notch with the OMG! moments. What I'm Writing : I'm keeping on with NaNoWriMo at 28k! In between I'm switching back and forth between two stories: Reading Deciding Hijab after a long break. I forgot about her short conversation about a school dance club. I didn't even put in a scene of her joining after the conversation. More revisions to come. Hello Poetteers, It's day two of the belated blog tour! I get to talk about the cover design. I knew I wanted an illustration. A hand drawn look a like. An animal or little child with a balloon. While looking up cover artists I fell in love with Sarah Kettle's work. I picked her to make the cover. She did deliver what I wanted along with more. The title had to be in the picture. When I saw the mockup with two birds holding balloons and kissing with a kiss imprint in the background, I knew it was perfect. We just had to change some color and finalize it. Hello Poetteers, It's day one of belated blog tour of HUGS & KISSES. I already knew I would be using the older poems on my blog. I had to name my book after it. The format is what I was thinking about. Maybe to have it like a list. Hugs. Kisses. Poetry. Maybe I should take out the the word poetry. Hugs. Kisses. Then I decided to simply have it HUGS & KISSES. Hello Poetteers, We are reaching towards our last day of this poetry blogfest. Today will be Two for Thursday. Your second to last prompt is to write about a struggle and victory or struggle vs. victory, anything like that. Hello Poetteers, Today is day two of OLIVE JAZZ!! The prompt is a little simpler than yesterday's : Write about family vs friend. Family vs. Friend Family is someone that always stays while friends come and go Family is those who understand the craziness of your family yet friends give you an outsider view on how to deal with family Family is back home where all the extended members live in the same house or at least the same street Friends are those who live near by become your family when you don't have one. Hello readers,  Today is the start of the MOONLESS blog tour! I'm glad to be the first stop and kick it off with a review. Looking back at my review I know I really love the story. I love the feel of what we call the olden days.  For now: 4.5 stars I was immediately curious on what's going on, I was even more curious when she made a connection with a nightmare. Curious to why she wants to hide. Just as curious as her wanting to know answers. You would love the descriptions in this story. I feel like I'm in the journey with her. I felt all her emotions. Hello readers,  Today is the first day of the blog tour! I'm staying here on my blog to share the cover process. I thought since it's about my poetry I should compile a collage as the cover, but blur it for the text. I liked it and thought I would use it, but after awhile it didn't feel right.  Someone told me they wanted me to use a picture of myself since the poems were about me. I chose a good picture from camping and turned it black and white.  I thought to keep it simple and keep the text to the left.  It didn't look right. I changed it to the right.  It still didn't look right. There was too much space. I adjusted the words and the colors. I made my cover! And there you have it! I hope it was good! Love,
