Love-A-Thon: Introduction

Hello readers,
Hosted by: Alexa (Alexa Loves Books), Cee (The Novel Hermit), Hazel (Stay Bookish) & Mel (The Daily Prophecy)

I'm Fida Islaih. I call my readers Poetteers. It was inspired by my love of poetry and having the title three musketeers stuck in my head. I was part of a collaboration blog where I shared my poetry once in a while and the people I collaborated with pushed me to have my own blog. My blog is currently titled Hugs and Kisses of Poetry because I write poetry and that's how words make me feel. I even have a poetry book titled, Hugs & Kisses.

I mostly read and review contemporary YA. I'm slowly getting into fantasy, etc. I'm excited for more books by Sarah J Maas and Marissa Meyer. One book I wanted to but didn't read last year and will try to read this year is Susan Abulhawa's The Blue Between Sky and Water.

I really love book and stationary shopping, shopping for clothes would be next. There was a TV series called Little Mosque on the Prairie, I want more TV shows and books similar to that. Two books that come to mind that I want more of is Does My Head Look Big In This and Bestest. Ramadan. Ever.

Other than that, my dream library would have wall to ceiling shelves and big windows that could be window seats along with regular big comfy chairs. Maybe it would even have a tea and snack bar.

Love, Fida

I've been reading a lot of contemporary YA lately too. It may be because it was just valentine's day! Nice to meet you. :)

Our dream libraries are very similar! I think it would be so great to have floor to ceiling shelves, and I would love big windows for light with window seats for comfort <3
I agree with the comments above! Your dream library is the kind I would love to get lost in for days. ♥♥♥
A snack bar right in the library would be nice! So you can eat some before going back to reading ;D

What's up Wednesday

Hello readers, What I'm Reading : I got and read two e-Arcs. 1. Behind the Stars by Leigh T Moore. I gave it 5 stars. The synopsis was left vague which left the story to be unexpected. 2. The Attic of Sand and Secrets by Medeia Sharif. I gave it 4 stars. I love the mystery. I love the diversity. Also, I finally... for the first time, got to read THRONE OF GLASS by Sarah J Maas!! I gave it 5 stars. You will find more in depth reviews on goodreads . What I'm Writing : I'm in that two week slump for NaNoWriMo. This weekend I was at 17k. It's been three days and I'm at 18k. Hopefully better days are coming. Lists are very helpfully. I recently learned one way to revise your novel is to write one line about each page you have. It's timely but you get to see what you character or plot point is missing. What Else : Got an award from Jessica at Lunatic Poet , thank you! I have to give seven facts and pass it on to some of my favorite bloggers. - I've been blogging f

What's up Wed: Blog Tour Day 3

Hello readers, What I'm Reading CROWN OF MIDNIGHT! The first book was already great but this second book kicked it up a notch with the OMG! moments. What I'm Writing : I'm keeping on with NaNoWriMo at 28k! In between I'm switching back and forth between two stories: Reading Deciding Hijab after a long break. I forgot about her short conversation about a school dance club. I didn't even put in a scene of her joining after the conversation. More revisions to come. The other story is one I have a sneak peak on Wattpad . What Else : It's day three of belated Hugs & Kisses blog tour. Earlier this month Medeia reviewed my book . If you have read it or is planning to read it I would love to see your review on goodreads ! Poetry Prompt : Write about the feeling reading gives you. a Rafflecopter giveaway Love, Fida # Poetteers
