Revisiting the Poetry Bucket List

Hello Poetteers,

A couple years ago I created a poetry bucket list. At the time I accomplished two of them. I published two poetry books. I also co-lead a poetry workshop at a camp I went to. I accomplished two of the ten things on my list. Today I have accomplished half of my list.

1. Since then I published two more poetry books.
2. I've done live performances at the camps I've been to. I'm also doing some recorded pieces on SoundCloud.
3. I co-lead a workshop at one of those camps.
4. I made my first poetry short film this week and will be sharing it in the coming days.
5. If you have seen my tweets I am working on being a poetry editor.

My Writer's Voice Entry

Some good comes out of this, Yasmeen meets a faithful Christian girl named Jenna and she has a load of questions for her interest in their religion, Islam. What's up Wednesday

Hello readers, What I'm Reading : I got and read two e-Arcs. 1. Behind the Stars by Leigh T Moore. I gave it 5 stars. The synopsis was left vague which left the story to be unexpected. 2. The Attic of Sand and Secrets by Medeia Sharif. I gave it 4 stars. I love the mystery. I love the diversity. Also, I finally... for the first time, got to read THRONE OF GLASS by Sarah J Maas!! I gave it 5 stars. You will find more in depth reviews on goodreads . What I'm Writing : I'm in that two week slump for NaNoWriMo. This weekend I was at 17k. It's been three days and I'm at 18k. Hopefully better days are coming. Lists are very helpfully. I recently learned one way to revise your novel is to write one line about each page you have. What's up Wed: Blog Tour Day 3

Hello readers, What I'm Reading CROWN OF MIDNIGHT! The first book was already great but this second book kicked it up a notch with the OMG! moments. What I'm Writing : I'm keeping on with NaNoWriMo at 28k! In between I'm switching back and forth between two stories: Reading Deciding Hijab after a long break. I forgot about her short conversation about a school dance club. I didn't even put in a scene of her joining after the conversation. More revisions to come.
