Getting Into Journaling

Hello Poetteers,

I've been journaling for years and I enjoy it. It's a private and intimate process.

Don't let the word scare intimidate you. It doesn't have to be a long essay about your day or your feelings. You don't have to write in it everyday.

I write long essays, short paragraphs or even just one sentence. I've missed days and beat myself up for it. I've learned that it's okay. Sometimes I write a journal entry in a poetry form.

You don't need a fancy journal or notebook. You don't even need a notebook if you feel typing it on your phone or computer is better.

Some people saying vlogging and blogging is their journaling, but I don't fully agree with that.

In your journal you are able to use strong words for how you feel and no one will see. You won't be hurting anyone in the process of healing yourself.
