U is for Universe

Hello Poetteers,

Back to basics
to the simple Universe
without all the divisions and fights.

Back to basics
no social media takeover
a simple letter writing
to your loved one
next door or across the Universe
or in University.

The Universe is an optimistic place
we shouldn't be pessimistic
people or make it a pessimistic place
We should give love
like the Universe loves us

Spring is the season
from the Universe
that reminds us
to get back to basics.

Love and thank you, Fida

P.S. I may take my own advice and reduce my social media use. You can stay connected with me on my newsletter. AND I'm about to give my Poetteers (the ones that subscribe) a sweet deal or two. Sign up by the 28th of this month to find out what it is!

Along with that, I have a giveaway going on:
a Rafflecopter giveaway

For some, like me, social media is my only source of friendship and interaction outside my caregiver/worker/MomMom/maid/cook/gardner/etc life :)

We definitely need to focus on the positives though. Hope you are well! <3

The simpler aspects of life are much to be longed for. We have such a busy complex world. I don't do as much social media as some I suppose, but still it seems to take up a lot of my life.

The Medicine That Burns by Molly S Hillery It is a raw declaration on what a life of trauma can look like after the dust settles and the poems have happy endings. It is an unflinching narrative on how hurt is cyclical, how recovery must be redefined repeatedly, and how shame can poison us in the worst ways. I See How You've Kept Me by Aisha Adams A debut poetry book that takes you through a journey of brokenness to reach complete healing. May The...
