What's Up Wednesday

Hello readers and what is up?? I hope you enjoy today's post!

What I'm Reading

I just finished reading LOVE, TINK. I did a review a couple of days ago.

What I'm Writing

My latest WIP has a title WOULD YOU BELIEVE and I have a sample of it on wattpad. It also reached the 12k mark! It's about a strong faithed girl who is friends with two girls who don't have faith and is losing faith and what becomes of them.

What Else I've Been Up To

My poetry collection is not just a collection waiting to be crowdfunded, I got my first supporter and lots of people spreading the word. I also found people to help me edit, format and market it, yay!! You can find an excerpt and donate at poetfida.pubslush.com

What Inspires Me Right Now

That is so exciting about your book and congrats on your WIP. I've been very encouraged and inspired by twitter as well.
Glad to hear that your work is progressing. 12K is an accomplishment! Really cool, too, to hear about your poetry collection. Way to go!

I've been finding Twitter conversations inspiring lately too. I love how supportive the writing community is. :-) Your WiP sounds fascinating. The story I'm working on also deal in faith, and really making me ponder the great beyond (if you will). Happy writing this week!

Woot, woot! I'm so glad to hear things are progressing with your poetry collection. Yay! And your stuff is up on Wattpad? I totally need to get back into that place. Set up an account about a year ago, engaged for a bit, then stepped back to finish edits on my WIP. I'll have to find you on there.

Love-A-Thon: Book Spine Poetry

Hello Poetteers,  It is another day of LoveAThon challenges. This morning we have to come up with some book spine poems.  Rose under fire burned into cinder my name is memory.   Out of the easy and between shades of gray  say what you will every last word.   Her treasures are written in the stars because every soul is a star. I had too much fun with this. I hope you enjoyed this! You can find more poetry hacks here . My poetry book, Her Treasures, is available here .  Thank you, Fida

#LoveAThon Mini Challenge 4

Hello Poetteers, This challenge is all about mash-ups. We have to put together our bookish life with a non-bookish passion. It's easy once you know your passion. I love reading and writing stories and poetry. I love music, food and travel. I want to travel everywhere. Backpack in Europe. Explore Asia. Help Arabia. Try all the different foods. Probably with the characters of PAPER TOWNS. They have a good plan in place. You got to listen to music when you're driving or on a plane. UNWRITTEN is a bookish song. Or anything Natasha Bedingfield. Or anything bought for my phone. I just like background noise when I read or write. Yet I like to hang out with the songs I first heard of when introduced to music, instead of the newer ones. Maybe in our travels and meals we bump into my favorite artists and get to do some cool stuff like write, sing or just explore with them. At the end and even during the adventures I'd keep a journal of poetry and what we did. There I got everything I...
