Monday Blessings #14: June

Salaam readers!

I applied for my first part time job! And it's the perfect one because I get to work with books and my awesome organization skills. Please pray that I get it.

I tried a citrus flavored fortune cookie.

I had early birthday cupcakes. It was red velvet made from scratch.

I went to some more grad parties. But I'm glad they are over. The introvert in me is tired of these extroverted events.

I can finally keep myself busy with a new WIP I'm working on (you'll know if you're on twitter) and my summer course started today.

Last, but not least: don't forget my poetry collection campaign. I would love for you all to help. You might get a poem and/or recognition for it. Thank you!

My Writer's Voice Entry

Hello readers, What I'm Reading : I got and read two e-Arcs. 1. Behind the Stars by Leigh T Moore. I gave it 5 stars. The synopsis was left vague which left the story to be unexpected. 2. The Attic of Sand and Secrets by Medeia Sharif. I gave it 4 stars. I love the mystery. I love the diversity. Also, I finally... for the first time, got to read THRONE OF GLASS by Sarah J Maas!! I gave it 5 stars. You will find more in depth reviews on goodreads . What I'm Writing : I'm in that two week slump for NaNoWriMo. This weekend I was at 17k. It's been three days and I'm at 18k. Hopefully better days are coming. Lists are very helpfully. I recently learned one way to revise your novel is to write one line about each page you have. What's up Wed: Blog Tour Day 3

Hello readers, What I'm Reading CROWN OF MIDNIGHT! The first book was already great but this second book kicked it up a notch with the OMG! moments. What I'm Writing : I'm keeping on with NaNoWriMo at 28k! In between I'm switching back and forth between two stories: Reading Deciding Hijab after a long break. I forgot about her short conversation about a school dance club. I didn't even put in a scene of her joining after the conversation. More revisions to come.
