Not So Winners, Inspiration, and Self-Pubbed Books

Hello readers,

Sorry for posting so late today. I thought I could go somewhere with a contest. But apparently not.

So before I get upset let's get to my topics. Today on Kristy's blog is a Write. Be. Series and today is an inspiration. To me anything and everything is inspiration. I just had a chat with WritersRoad about inspiration. It was awesome! You should join if you haven't already.

Other than that, I'm participating in this month's TCWT blog chain.

The prompt: “Choose one self-published book to read, then briefly review it or talk about your experiences reading it."

I have read self-published books. It's not any different from traditionally published books. As of my little knowledge most self-published books are only in e-book format. And some come free because the authors like to test different genres. Or at least that's what I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The first self-published book I've read is 'Born of Fire' by Heather McCorkle. Another self-published book I read is 'Jars of Clay' by Lee Strauss. I've already done a review here on my blog.

So back to 'Born of Fire'. I re-read it because I love it that much. I'm not really into fantasy much, but I'm also a dreamer. I love color vibe thing going on. And in a small amount of time there was so much suspense. Having a baby and being in a car chase. That's all I'm saying, you should read it. I owe to Heather for writing such a good book.

Ah, more titles for me to check out. I really haven't found many *good* self-pubbed titles, but honestly, I don't think I've looked deep enough. There seem to be some amazing ones out there!
