The Quiet Muse and a Party

Hello Poetteers,

I'm a day late to the Muse Party but I thought I should still come. You can find the other guests here!

1. Who is your muse (or character)? Tell us a little bit about him/her and why you brought them.

My muse is love. Lately it has been between relationships with people, nature and oneself.

2. What are you guys wearing? Dressing up or keeping it casual?

Right now we are keeping it casual I have on a beanie, kimono and jeans. My muse's is in a vest and jeans.

3. It’s a potluck! Did you bring something yummy!

We pitched in and baked brownies together for all of you, enjoy!

4. Open bar! What are you both drinking (booze or otherwise)?

Neither one of us are allowed to drink. My muse has the usual cherry coke and I have a raspberry lemonade.

5. Wallflowers or social butterflies?

I'm a wallflower. My muse is in between. It tries to get me to be a social butterfly.

6. What song(s) will you and your muse sing for karaoke?

Good question! Maybe 'See You Again'. My muse has been listening to it and got it stuck in my head.

7. What’s your favorite party game?

Scrabble!

8. Which one of you is more likely to end up dancing on a table top?

My muse. It likes to embarrass me and take me out of my comfort zone.

9. Has your muse been a good date and would you ever hang out with them again?

I think yes. It was a good partner.

Thank you for having us,

Fida

P.S. I have three poetry books: A to Z Poetry, Her Olives, and Hugs & Kisses for you to enjoy!

The Tortured Poets Analysis

Personal Interpretation of The Tortured Poets  Dear readers, I enjoy reading a song and analyzing the lyrics. I love being able to detect the story she's telling while also interpreting it. I develop my own personal connection. Here's a breakdown why some of the lyrics have become my favorite. no one here to blame, what about your quiet treason. the betrayal brought her depression and she’s attempting to move on but the forced energy isn’t healing. It's about struggling with a traumatic situation alone because no one noticed the changes in you. The narrator is envious of those living peaceful lives and frustrated that friends found better people to be with. I've seen this episode and still loved the show, I've read this one where you come undone, I chose this cyclone with you. Depending on the perspective you choose it's about the guilt and regret for getting in your own way or willing to stay with someone through their mental illness. The voices in his head cal...
