Thursday Turnout: IndieReCon and More!

Hello readers!

I hope there are some new readers, if yes, thank you! With today having been the last day of IndieReCon, I'm sad. Yet I'm glad it was my first online conference, no make that my first conference ever to go to. I really enjoyed it and I learned a lot these past three days.

I'm more of a person that gets in touch with my emotions. On day one I was really excited about everything minus me worried about money (which didn't come until the end of the day). I thought maybe I can have a sponsor. Putting my question out there I got responses and heard of crowd funding (after this I'm going to check this out with my mom).

At our second chat at the end of day two we talked about marketing. (If you read the posts, you'll know more about what I'm saying next). I haven't been on wattpad since I first made it when heather was in a contest for her first book. In the beginning of this year I got off the tumblr and instagram bandwagons. Yet after #indierecon I'm thinking of going back on. If I do, I'm just glad I have a more set topic than before.

On day three one of the earlier on posts got me overwhelmed. I tried not to worry. I just told myself really do need to take this one step at a time and have a team. (and did some art to calm myself down). The rest of the conference was just as exciting as day one and two.

I can't wait to put what I learned into action. I hope you wish me luck because I wish you luck!

Other than that, I need more luck my way. I'm trying my first Internet free day tomorrow!

The Tortured Poets Analysis

Personal Interpretation of The Tortured Poets  Dear readers, I enjoy reading a song and analyzing the lyrics. I love being able to detect the story she's telling while also interpreting it. I develop my own personal connection. Here's a breakdown why some of the lyrics have become my favorite. no one here to blame, what about your quiet treason. the betrayal brought her depression and she’s attempting to move on but the forced energy isn’t healing. It's about struggling with a traumatic situation alone because no one noticed the changes in you. The narrator is envious of those living peaceful lives and frustrated that friends found better people to be with. I've seen this episode and still loved the show, I've read this one where you come undone, I chose this cyclone with you. Depending on the perspective you choose it's about the guilt and regret for getting in your own way or willing to stay with someone through their mental illness. The voices in his head cal...
