A to Z Preview

Hello readers,

As you know April is coming up in a few days and that also means the A to Z challenge! I've heard it before and always thought of it. This year... I'm participating in it for the first time! April is also national poetry month and Poetic Asides has a poem a day challenge.

So my theme... instead of doing something for each... I'm combining them!

Alphabet poetry!

Duh! That's the first reason I have this blog.

Check out the big list to see who else is participating in 'The Big Reveal' blog hop.

So if you're still here, last week on my blog and twitter I hinted about something, today I'm sharing the details. It has to do with the challenges. I've seen people publish a book of their A to Z stuff. I want to do that! I even already created a cover! I want to publish a poetry collection, and that might just happen later this year... woohoo!!

HI Fida! I'm also doing both Poetic Asides and A to Z Challenge along with at least 2 more daily challenges. I'm going with haibun for A to Z and with Alphabet poetry for Haiku Heights.

We'll both be busy poeming in April! What a fun way to spend the free time!

Creating non-fiction blog content for A to Z is challenging enough; creating poetry (or any fictional stuff) every day in April, practically, just blows my mind. Good luck with it! :-)
Very ingenious! Combining challenges makes it cost effective! good on you!

Good luck, Fida!

Publishers That Publish Poetry Books

Hello Poetteers, As I was doing my own research for poetry publishers this question popped up on my feed: Does anyone know any publishers that publish poetry books? Later on, while hosting #PoetteerChat I asked what everyone’s plan is for a year from now. Most of you said to be published. I promised a list of publishers, so here’s the top 7 I found. Along with the publisher, I will mention the poets they represent. I want to work with someone I can trust. Seeing familiar names makes them more trustable in my opinion. Andrew McMeel - has published Amanda Lovelace, Lang Leav, Rupi Kaur and more.  Dancing Girl Press - has published our very own Amanda N. Butler.  Bottlecap Press - has published Courtney LeBlanc  Button Poetry - has published Olivia Gatwood, Sierra DeMulder and more.  Two Sylvias Press - has published Jeannine Hall Gailey, Kelli Russell Agodon, Martha Silano and more.  Write Bloody - has published Sarah Kay, Andrea Gibson and mo...
